Is it legal to carry at The Fairgrounds?

What kind of Fairgrounds ? A lot of places fit that description .

Horse racing in New Orleans. I am thinking that you have to be 21 to enter a gambling establishment and probably cannot carry.

Since Churchill Downs owns the Fairgrounds in New Orleans, I checked their website since I couldn't find anything on the Fairgrounds site. I would think that the rules at the Fairgrounds are similar. Here ya go:

I may or may not have conceal carried at the weiner dog races there last year. There was no search/metal detectors/signs prohibiting/etc at the gate to get in. However, I stayed outside by the track the whole time.

I went yesterday for my 1st time ever to see a horse race. What a nice venue. We had a great time. We even came out ahead on our bets.
I left my 9 in the vehicle. I did stop a security guard who stated "no weapons". Still wish I had it considering the neighborhood we were in.

I've seen a sign three times: Jazzfest (2 years) and Tails & Ales

I don't bet on horse races, so I've never been there for any of that.
