Actually I have a nickle allergy, after the wife constantly complaining the past few years about me not wearing my band I bought some cheap steel ones off ebay. Well had to coat something the other day and figured what the hell this way I know it's sealed and won't break my hand out. The coating is holding up surprisingly well.

Mine is titanium because I cannot stand weight on my ring finger. I do a shedload of typing during the day and heavy gold or platinum drives me nuts.

Titanium also has the side effect of being cheap as s&^t.

I don't like wearing rings or any jewelry because they get in the way when I'm working on stuff or they smack stuff I'm working on...... So I just don't wear mine. My wife knows I love her and I wouldn't trade her in on anything else out there.

Cannot wear jewelry while offshore. You get into the habit of nothing on your neck/wrist/hands and it carries over to your home time. I just dont wear mine anymore.

This. But it should be milled from 7076 aluminum. Or polymer.
