The point being there is now a more clear divide between pro western groups and anti-western groups? I would honestly think this makes directly helping the rebels a more favorable option, as you can choose and identify more easily who you are helping.

No Jack, that's not the conclusion of the person who wrote article LOL. But yes Obama would agree with you and pat you on the back.

Not to mention you have no idea who used chemical weapons: Al-Qaeda, Rebels or Assad?

    Paper, Rock, Scissors?

So, what was the author's conclusion? We have been sending supplies over there for some time, independent of the use of chemical weapons.

Potential failed state for Syria if Assad loses control.

Think Somalia, Ethiopia, etc. An entire country a launchpad for jihadists all over the Middle East.

This is what CIA would call "blowback".

And you believe that is the ONLY conclusion to be drawn here?

Or you can try to fix it. Worked well in places like Libya and Iraq. I'm sure people there will welcome us with open arms. I mean, everything will go according to plan right like it did for the past decade.

It will be interesting to hear how you would fix the Middle East. Maybe you will get the next Nobel Peace prize like Obama.

Are you going to keep trying to turn a discussion into an argument? I'm speaking to you as though you're an adult, try responding like one.
