Got an email on this stuff and decided to give it a shot.

How dirty the baffles are currently

Soaked around 12 hours in, the baffles were coated in white brake grease before the shoot, some of the carbon is starting to flake off.

I hope it works good or I wasted a good chunk of change. I’m never buying another aluminum can again since you can’t chuck em in the sonic cleaner.

I soak mine in Kroil between outings, but don't clean otherwise. My can is a .22 cal suppressor. I only shoot CCI Clean ammunition through it. I've only carbon and unburnt powder to deal with.

Interesting idea. I've had good luck with silicone oil but may have to try that.
I was doing some reading and this popped up a few times. Which was great for me because I always keep it in the garage for when I do brakes on my personal cars. It's thick, doesn't move and handles high temps well. I really didn't even have to let it soak in simple green. Just wiping it got it pretty clean.

    This is what I use.
