Not talking down about anyone's choice of watch. But I am not a big fan of Luminox or G-Shocks
Luminox, are over priced, don't live up there marketing hype about there reliability, and customer service is crap.
Over all not a very good watch exotically for the price.

You can find a better watch for the price.

But I will say, a Luminox, can be fixed by a jewelry where a G-shock, can not be fixed.

I am not a big fan of this, big faced watch trend that has takin over watches these days.
Nothing larger than a 42mm case for me.
39mm is my ideal case size.

Today's watch. I promise, it looks better in person.

I see that no one has mentioned Invicta yet. As for a reasonably priced tough as nails watch you could do a lot worse. I have been wearing a stainless Invicta Python chronograph for 4 or 5 years daily while working with tools and mechanical things and other than replacing the battery and a pin in the band it has really stood up to the abuse. Not too bad for a 100 dollar watch that also looks good. I am amazed at the quality of the sapphire crystal. It does not have a scratch or mark on it. I decided I will wear it until it breaks, but I did get another one with a blue face and a slightly larger case. I keep my Tags in the gun safe and only wear them occasionally. Here is a little gun/watch porn.

Invicta makes some solid watches for the money. And have a broad range of styles from Rolex knock offs to very huge "blingy" ones to great daily watches that you can swim/dive with. Smart company, it hit every market...

Currently sporting a tag aquaracer and sometimes a seiko dive watch, both gifts.

Looking forward to one day getting myself a submariner, and eventually a nautilus.

Currently I'm shopping the datejust for my wife.

Nice Motor. It's one of the best bang for the buck mechanicals made. Hands down. Shineola is going to have a hard time in today's market. Lots of people still remember, "You don't know **** from Shineola" and that may be a problem. They've branded themselves horribly over the last few months too. The 24 hour watch posted is one of my favorite. I plan on getting a true 24hr movement one day. Those are affordable too since they are Russian made.

Thanks. This is the newest model with hacking and hand winding also. I'm trying to get use to the new face with fangs instead of the square hour markers.
