I got a $$ windfall at work
and I was going to maybe buy a new pistol?
what do you think I should get
I kinda thought of a 9mm taruas 905
or a CZ p07 the new polyamer one
I may only get about 4 or 5 after taxes
any suggestions?

I was looking at 9mm so it was a cheaper reload
I was looking at the CZ to try somthing with with a hammer
I also like the Idea of a revolver
I have also thought of a 92 Breatta
I though I would ask others thought

I would go with the CZ p-07 or CZ p-01. I have a CZ p-01 and I love it. I chose it over glock and XD because I like the aluminum frame and having a hammer. So far it had been 100% reliable for me and is a very accuarate gun.

Do you have a XD in the 9mm Sub Compact? You can pick that up from Mark Waggenspack for about $499.00. That is a sweet "LITTLE" gun! Or you could try the XD45 compact! I haven't tried one yet but it is on the wish list! It will go with my standard XD45.

Maybe I am just different than most. But when it comes to a handgun and using them for personal defense, I like knowing it is an instinct reaction. Even though I have different cal's having basically the same gun they all function exactly the same. Just my own ignorant opinion. Am I wrong by this thought? Now I do have a few other types but they are stored away in the safe and wouldn't be used in that situation anyway. But the few that are strategically placed are all XD's!

I have 2 xd's I like them I have thought of getting a 9mm barrel for my 40 but I was hoping for a 3rd gun so I have one for me and each of the younger son's
I would like to have one of each type of gun because I would like to have some skill with most I still want a kimber 1911 and a few others I don't know I am still thinking parts for the ones I have ,,,could be and idea too
but if I buy sight I don't know what too get I know I want glow in the dark but what type? and if I get a barrel what type

the trigger area I don't know if it just broke they guy had just bougth it and I heard it was fixed by glock it did not expolde or anything but I alos reload and use cast lead bullets so no glock for me
don't get me wrong I know millions of pepole have used and loved them
but well I want a gun I know will work I don't have anything against plastic guns

I also have "heard" of the fact that the Glock is unsupported on the mag side of the chamber meaning only brass is really holding it in on the edge and that you will see a slight swell on the casing there so I stick with my feelings
I would just rather feel confindent when I shoot
