what is the turnaround time for getting CHL after submitting?

Comes in a tiny envelope, bout the size of a picture.

Mine was 32 days, and that was in December.

Mailed mine to BR (with digital prints) 6/6. Confirmed receipt 6/8. Still waiting, although haven't been notified thus far of any problems. Since I had digital prints, I was expecting approval by now...... How difficult is it to contact them to check on the status?

Just called the LSP using the ph # on the CHP application form. My application's been approved, but hasn't been mailed yet as they're currently out of printing supplies.... Should go out in the mail next week. The lady taking my call was very polite and the call itself took less than 15 seconds.

Mine arrived today. Mailed to BR w/ digital prints 6/6 and received at LSP 6/8. No problems w/ application or questions. Total time from their receipt of application to my receipt of permit was 11 weeks.

LOL, there's a big stamp on it that says LOUISIANA STATE POLICE CONCEALED HANDGUN UNIT. Something tells me that anyone who has any brains at all will know exactly what's in it, especially the mailman.

the wife and i droped our off in BR July 22 and got it back in the mail today. about 40 days.

well, I sent mine off back in mid July and here we are September 8th and no license. I'm about a week shy of it being 2 months.......sheesh

Dropped mine off at LSP HQ on Aug 18th and got it 25 days later on Sept 12.
