As a kid I carried and sacked groceries for living and I was amazed at how many paid for food with WIC and food stamps yet had a newer nicer car (often a Cadillac) then I had. My personal favorite was the couple with the unruly kids who both worked at a local restaurant but yet paid with food stamps for everything....then proceeded to the lottery tickets to spend $50 - $100.

This stuff no longer surprises me and never did amuse me.
