    That holster is very good looking, but honestly I don't think I could come up with a design that would further increase you chances of accidentally shooting yourself with a 1911

    Guess you've never seen an Audley...

    The methodology behind the designs was the pistols were not to be carried in either of these holsters in condition zero. In their day they were quite popular, especially with law enforcement like this Texas Ranger's...
