So we get this Sweet 72 Hot Rod Nova in the shop with a so called Restoration job done to it.
$5,000 later, the car should be road worthy.
It took many hours to get all the bugs worked out to make the car Road worthy.
I take it out for its FIRST test drive, and it sounds like the Rear axle has a Dead Cat in it.
Not a bearing noise or even your typical gear pattern noise, but a Super High pitch scrawl noise.
Craziest thing I've heard in 25 years. [ trust me, I have seen some crap too ]
Well, needless to say, the So called Rebuilt Rear Axle has to come apart. AND we cant get it apart !!!!!
This was the ONLY way it was coming apart ! Wasn't pretty.
