If you have not read this you should. It is the play book by which this facade is being built.

    http://www.frontpagemag.com/fpm/184445/six-alinsky-rules-explain-obamas-words-and-deeds-jack-kerwick

I truly believe that the Dumbass is a Socialist. But I also believe that he hates the current version of America more. I believe he is a defined racist. He knows that the Founders were not fond of blacks regardless of abolition or emancipation. He knows that they mostly believed blacks were inferior to them. He hates that there is homage to many of them all over. He is reminded of them everyday in Washington. Alinski's idea of Socialism will not work today. If this country descends into chaos, phony liberals, or the likes of the Dumbass, will not be triumphantly standing on the piles of ashes like Alinsky dreamed.

The biggest problem the Dumbass and his ilk have with completely taking over this place and bankrupting rich white men and the corporations is, is those that have the power and the money now, will not go down so obediently as Alinsky preached. And in EVERY other example of Communist, Socialist, or Fascist take overs in modern history, none have been attempted against an armed population.

He and the phonys can destroy this country though economic collapse, and Socialist entitlements programs, but no way I fear them celebrating it's demise and drinking champagne afterwards.

In time? Decades, Centuries? Don't know! Don't care! It is up to my kids to fix it then and I warn them all the time.

Gets a little depressing at least till hunting season comes back around ! :mamoru:

In a tree stand, on a log hunting squirrels, a duck blind, in a field shooting doves???? The only places on Earth I feel truly free!

Which brings up this important fact; hunting restrictions are being lessoned all over the country. Shooting sports are on the rise! Armed self defense is a bazillion dollar industry! So far so good on the 2nd Amendment front! However, when you start seeing lines of people turning in guns voluntarily; It's over! ;)

Emperor, your post is refreshing. Especially since all I hear lately is "Ba-a-a-a-a"

Or some reference to Reynolds wrap

Or "politically incorrect", "racist ", "extremist", etc.

There are huge differences in the times of now and the times of the American Revolution, that's a gimme, but a couple people rarely mention are that the colonists were already on the same page since they arrived on this continent. The citizenry of today are so diverse, divided and squelched that, even though the numbers are far greater, we are less of a threat to tyranny than the patriots of then. Until we are not so divided, our numbers add up to insufficient.
    But I feel you man.

Which is why it is more important, now more than ever, to introduce our country's youth into shooting related activities. And you know what? I don't even care if "they" call it indoctrination. I want to call it "Re-patriotism." This country's enemies from within (phony liberal leftist America haters), are winning. And they are openly indoctrinating our youth in schools and in colleges. They deny, deny, deny; but everyday there is a news story that reveals the true nature of what these enemies do.

At the very least! The absolute very least! We MUST teach them about the Constitution and the 2nd Amendment.

And this can be is a segue into supporting all of the various pro-youth gun opportunities through groups like the Friends of NRA. Take the time to understand what this all does for the future of guns here.

While I think the two party system is a problem, it is not the problem! The problem is electorate. We are allowing our less informed voters to steer the results.

Agreed that the two party system is one of many problems. Also agree that the electorate needs to be educated and engaged. The founders/framers as well as the societal musings of the enlightenment thinkers the framers got many of their ideas from recognized the educated electorate as necessary. Without it, you have the mobs of Rome or the more modern version, the Idiocracy movie.

We had ways to get information before the internet and it was not that hard. There were the local newspapers, in depth journalism in magazines like Harpers and foreign news sources covering U.S. politics. The foreign sources always deliver unique, outsider perspectives that the MSM would never cover.
It was always out there if one wanted it. Most people don't care to bother that much. I also think that our most of our population has diminished ability to critically evaluate information fed to them. Everything is taken at face value for some people. Everyone takes advantage of that from salespeople to the MSM to politicians.

Funny you mention news sources. A very good friend of mine was/is a journalist. A real journalist. Reformed democrat too! Now Independent of course!

One day I lamented to him how the news has gotten so corrupted. How I was stunned at how easily these ideologues just kick journalistic integrity out the door and became a puppet of their particular sides or causes. He told me that it has all changed for the worse and he was as stunned by the lack of integrity and amount of bias they creep into their reporting.

He went on to tell me that the only place he finds the least biased reporting is Associated Press website. It's not bad. It's usually raw reporting from around the world BEFORE the American news organizations pick and choose what they want to use.

You ask where does it end? I'm afraid, from what I see, it will end ina very bad place for most of us. I agree with you about the AP.

I consider myself an optimistic person but we have am awful lot of issues in this country that honestly most folks can't even discern. I think it's almost time to pop smoke. .

I think some great points have been brought up here, but I will add that I think when we started being forced to be Politically Correct on everything is one of the major contributing factors to things going downhill.

Think about it, most of the arguments that the side of righteousness has just happen to be suppressed by the idea of Politically Correctness.

...when gun control activists whine over "rampant gun crime", we're not allowed to say that certain minorities are responsible for most of it.

...when tyrants get in control of our government, we're not allowed to say they're terrible or we're accused of being racists.

...when women who happen to be corrupt get in control of our government, we're not allowed to call them out or we're accused of being sexists.

...when a certain race decides they love suicide bombing us left and right, we're not allowed to disallow their passage over here because we're accused of being racists again.

The list really goes on and on and it's gotten downright retarded. Oops, I said the word "retarded", apparently that's politically incorrect as well even though that used to be an actual medical term back when it wasn't considered offensive, and the same goes for the words "moron" and "idiot", and now some people are starting to consider "handicapped" a offensive politically incorrect term to use. Where will it end? I'm not trying to change the subject here but simply adding some food for thought.

Ha! I bet most people didn't know or remember, that William Shatner (Yes, Captain James T. Kirk), used the word "retarded" in an episode of the Twilight Zone! It was the episode where the little cafe' devil fortune telling machine was telling his future! ;)

Do what I do, use the Politically incorrect terms from time to time. The look on some folks faces is priceless. I grew up in a time and place where neiborhoods were segregated by nationalities. And when people busted Ba$$s you either took the heat and dished some out or got out the kitchen. Ive used Idiot and moron 3 times this week, two of my favorites. If the shoe fits so they say. Thats part of the problem it's all become hush hush and peoples skins are too thin. Thicken them up a bit ! I would love to start a national campain for every voter that would not vote for Hillary to send her a cheap box of cigars. She would be overwelmed by the shipments and if the worst happens and she gets in Bill can put them to good use !

In my neighborhood in late '70's, we endearingly called each other Ni&&a, regularly. Way before it became okay for blacks only; and taboo for whites.

I don't really care for people that think they are above anyone that uses slang. Usually, those thin skinned phony's are far more academically challenged than they think they are. Never judge people by the way they talk or look.

Does this guy look like one of the greatest minds of our time?

    Now to this, literally speaking.

The pc movement is not by mistake! These holier-than-thou phony's that promote this are wolves in sheeps clothing. It is a movement to stifle dissent. It is used as a weapon (usually against someone who opposes a leftist cause), to shame people (usually conservative types), into backing away from a debate. The reason it is so pervasive is it is out of control now. You may remember Jerry Seinfeld lashing out at the insanity of it. Hell, and he's one of them too.

Now, there are real people who get offended at some of this stuff sincerely. Parents that have a clinically retarded child probably feel sincerely terrible when they hear people make jokes about others with a condition that most likely causes a lot of hardships for them. That hits home! But the same goes for any disability; or race jokes, or ethnic jokes, etc. Life hurts! All of us!

Right now, there are comedians that are being shamed into genuflecting at the alter of the pc police for making jokes these idiots don't like. Comedians! People who free people pay to tell funny stories. For entertainment. And these phony's are not happy if you beg for mercy, they want to rope you into servitude and promises of never daring do it again. Can you imagine?

And these diabolical phony's will try to destroy your livelihood if you don't dance to their tune!

And you can see what happens when someone pushes back. They gang up on him. Look at Trump! I saw his original campaign speech, and not for one second did I think he meant ALL Mexicans. But since he is a white republican, he's a bigot! And just look at the phony's that are jumping on him since he doubled down.

Yeah, I would pretty much conclude the phony liberals are the cause of this.

    ^ Absolutely.

I was no fan of Trump before, but I've started to like him a LOT more now that he's started running for Pres.

Here's what is next in pc fantasy land:

New Orleans mayor Mitch Landrieu orders city council to find way to remove monuments to confederate generals, including Lee Circle and Beauregard. Regardless of how you feel about the confederacy or these people, or what they may or may not have stood for, it is history. So you have to ask yourself, where do you stop? And who are you appeasing with this hiding of history?

Why it matters? Going back to the Founding Fathers, be advised that many (and I mean almost all of them), including Jefferson, Lincoln, and Washington, truly believed that the blacks they enslaved were intellectually, anatomically, genetically, and most of all; socially inferior. Even though they knew that these people should be free. And did so.

So, if we are now going to replace historical monuments to men before us for their misdeeds or their allegiances to a cause; don't stop there! The Washington monument, the Lincoln Memorial, and the Jefferson Memorial MUST come down too! After all, these great men were racists. They wrote about it at length.

Then let's move on to WWII monuments too! We are going to celebrate the soldiers that genuinely believed that the Japanese were animals (rats in particular)? That they too were inferior? The same soldiers that took pliers to the mouths of dead Japanese soldiers to remove gold teeth? What about those great generals that perpetuated that racism?

Oh; that's different, huh? It's the Confederacy that is the problem because it what; offends people today for what it stands for? By the way, the Confederacy should be shamed for their attempted succession from the new Union! You know, just like we did in the Revolutionary War. Which reminds me, why are we celebrating our Independence when those Revolutionary's knew damn well they would be bringing slaves over too! That's right, the slave trade was active way before 1776.

So it's only this current generation that is so compassionate and tolerant! This is the age that matters! This is the new America! No history, just what happens today is what's important! Is it any wonder why the rest of the world hates us! Unless we are giving them money!

What a very disillusioned bunch of phony's America has become!

By the way; I'll be eagerly waiting to see what Mr. Landrieu's plans are for Jackson Square. You know the most famous iconic place in all of New Orleans? Named after former President Andrew Jackson, the Indian hater and killer! It's got to go!

By liberal logic, then shouldn't we ban all monuments? I mean, one might offend someone.

The bricks and mortar of a statue is not the issue. It's the purposeful erasure of history that is what they are doing. Thank Goodness for the internet. Try to find some of these writings from the Founders (good or bad, racist or not), without it.

I have absolutely no problem believing that without the internet record of these historical musings and writings, that in time, these phony America haters would have tried to find a way to get rid of the ones that "offend" someone by now.

Why does it matter? Because here we are still trying to find out about the origins of our existence, but we want to forget the bad guys in the Civil War? That is like trying to explain the Vietnam War without acknowledging the Viet Cong.
