This is probably quite outdated but last Summer I picked up 5 or 6 Value Packs (550rds) from Cabela's for about $12 each.

On the NIGHT of the election, after the Messiah was announced the winner, I went to WallyWorld and bought a large number of the Federal 550 packs. They haven't been in stock at all 3 WalMarts over here for the past few months. I'm glad I bought them when I did.

It will hopefully last me 2-3 years with my rate of shooting.

Anyone else besides me have issue with this ammo?
Out of 4 .22's (P22, Mosquito, Mossberg 702, Marlin 60)
the only one that will shoot this w/out continual FTE's is the Marlin tubefeed.
I had to switch to a 40 grain boolit to be able to shoot all 4 guns trouble free.
And yes RAINMAN they're all very clean LOL.

Luckily I have a few guns that I clean regularly and polish the feeds. Never had an issue. If you have 500 or 550 boxes that you want to rid of, lemme know!

We (Wal-Mart Oneal) get 5-10 cases a week of various bulk packs of .22lr. It use to sell out by 9am, now it lasts a couple of days. It is available if you keep checking, there was some on the shelf yesterday.
