    Guys,
I just picked up my first Mini 14 (finally) and am looking for a folding stock. Back in my day, Butler Creeks were the best and that's what I planned to get until I saw some of the newer stuff from ATI.
Anything else out there? Which one would you get and why?
I would like to make it into a badass-looking rifle that is fun to shoot, I do not plan to hunt animals with this gun.

Thanks in advance for the help.

I would pick those 2 but in reverse order.

You could always try and find the Holy Grail of Mini stocks, the factory side folder

The bottom stock is an older wooden choate stock I bought on ebay a couple years back. Its a Walnut stock with solid lockup.

I have a blued factory side folder sitting in my safe. It's just a little more uncomfortable than the Sage stock my gun used to be in...

IIRC Ruger never made an under-folder stock. The under-folder stock was made by Federal Ordinance. The only downfall to that stock is that it cannot be used with 30 round magazine inserted in the magazine well.
