Just curious...who conceal carries a Glock 19? Who thinks it's slightly too big to CC? Just wondering because I'm torn between a G19 or G26 for EDC. I can conceal both but the G26 just seems to be more practical and faster on the draw. I've always liked the G19 but find it to be kinda useless since I shoot my G17 on a regular basis more often than not and tend to lean on the G26 for CC. IMO the G19 is the Glock you need when you can only have one. Well,I have choices and I seem to think that the G17 and G19 are almost redundant if you own both. Tell me what you think.

I carry the 27, I have a G23C RTF2 on hold. I like the 27, but i bet the 19/23 size wouldnt be half bad. Your body type may also play a role in this, Im not fat/heavy but i have a nice college beer gut on me. (5'10" about 220 lbs) Im gonna have to get a holster for the G23 from what it looks like. I also want to try to conceal carry my HK P30, it almost the same size as a G19/23 but thats a different convo for another thread.

I carry a G19 daily with no problem. I'm also a pretty small guy, and do not wear baggy clothes. I do carry a G26 on the weekend if I'm just running around town on the northshore. Not sure I'd feel comfortable using the G26 as my full-time carry.

I also have a G17 in the nightstand, and they are sort of redundant, but honestly I've considered dumping the G17 for another G19 to take its place. It's just the perfect damn size, and I shoot the G19 better than any other gun I've owned.

Not to make anyone feel weird, but how big are you guys? I'd love to CC a G19, but I'm worried that it will be too big for me. I have troubles carrying my CW9 sometimes, so I'm worried about the double stack. Granted, my holster isn't all that great.

    I'm 5' 7 and about 175.

My dilemma is...anality lol!! I wish i could own the whole Glock 9mm lienup but I don't...not for a while at least. I own a 17 and 19 and thinking of trading the 19 for a 26. Definitely keeping the 17 and a little concerned about making a 26 EDC. I could conceal a 19 but the 26 is so much easier,but......................when I can get full size functionality, capacity and better grip in a compact (19)....the 26 falls in between the X and the Z,if you know what I mean. So,I'm trying to decide if I should keep the 19 or go for a 26 instead. Yes,having all three is good, but not right now so I have to work with what I have in terms of Glocks. So....17 & 19 or 17 & 26?

Oh yeah...I'm 5'11" 185lbs and 42 with a 4 yr old son fit if you know what I mean.

5' 10" and 145lbs. A good holster and belt are key. I personally use an MTAC and Wilderness belt.

I carry a 19 in a crossbreed holster, im 6ft. 2in. 290 lbs. I like the 26 but the 19 just makes me feel more comfortable because i have big hands.

Personally id keep the 19 and add the 26. Trade the 17

Have you considered a G19 with the grip cut down to g26 length? That seems to be a pretty popular mod now.

Actually, the grip is the least of my concerns,it's the lenght. A shorter gun doeasn't always mean comfortable during CC when it's a double stack. Sometimes a a half inch longer in length could stabilize the bulkiness.

I agree. I have a G17, G19 and G26. If I had to get rid of one, it would be the 17. It just doesn't do anything for me the 19 doesn't do. The two extra rounds are nice, but I much prefer the grip of the 19 and you can always run fullsize mags in it if desired. Never noticed a difference in sight radius or accuracy between the two, and I shoot the 19 better.

I CC a G19 about 90% of the time, if not that then a Jframe S&W. I had a hell of a time concealing it when I first started carrying. It was my first and only carry gun, so I learned how to adapt. I dont wear baggy clothes, and I am 5'7" and 170lbs. It hides nicely about 5 oclock, with a Mtac and 5.11 Operator belt. Truthfully, idk if I'd ever consider another semi auto for CC, maybe a USP compact in 45. But the Glock fits the bill in every way.
