What is the actual height of a .936 low profile gas block ?
Wondering if a .936 low profile gas block fit into a Noveske NSR 13.5" rail ? The rail's width is 1.48" - assuming the height is close to the same

What is the inner diameter of the rail? As long as gas block diameter is less than that, you should be fine.

I know that people with the noveske switch block were having to change them out. Which is bigger than a .750 low profile gas block but not sure how it compares to a .936.
Noveske NSR inside diameter is 1.31".
Cant seem to find an actual height of a .936 low profile gas block thou ...

The more times I run the math through my head. I'm starting to think it gonna be to big.
    1.31 - .936 = 0.374"
0.374" for the gas tube and set screws seems unlikely.

The inside diameter measures only the tube. There's a big ass channel cut in the 12o'clock rail to fit gas blocks and tubes, man. That's pretty standard for the vast majority of free floated guards.

As for whether it fits the .936 gas block... It looks like there's plenty of room but I can't say for sure. I just wanted to point out that you're sweatin' the wrong numbers.

Emailed PK firearms and they said yes it would fit a low profile .936 gas block, but the barrel nut wouldn't fit a diameter greater than 1.15"
I thought all barrels necked up to the same diameter, but after comparing a DPMS SASS barrel with an extra HBAR barrel I had laying around they don't.
Never thought Id selecting a hand guard would be such a headache.
    THanks for the input guys!

You're buying the Noveske NSR rail from PK Firearms?

    What barrel are you using?

What dimension are you looking at that you see is greater than 1.15" on your barrel? You realize you don't measure the barrel extension, right?

Im using a DPMS SASS 5.56 18" barrel. - Not sure if its bigger than 1.15" - Ive always assumed that all barrels would be necked up to the same measurement before the barrel extension.
