Ordering online is the easiest way to go, especially with all the forums available to answer any questions you may have. The availability of someone to answer your questions was a major draw for the local shops for a while. I still prefer a local shop if possible but have no issues with an online store.

    Try these out:
    Morebeer.com
    Austinhomebrew.com
    Northernbrewer.com
    Midwestsupplies.com
    Brewstock.com

All of these are beer-centric but have wine equipment also. I know Aaron at Brewstock knows his stuff and can be contacted through his website or at Aaron @ brewstock dot com.

I've had success with all the places mentioned above. You can't go wrong.

Thanks, I ordered a bunch of stuff from Austin with $5 shipping. I'll let you know how my first batches turn out.
