IMO you should try to get her to shoot something before you buy it for her. Most of the small auto loaders have long heavy triggers and can be pretty snappy in the recoil department.

I know there are women who don't NEED a revo because they're too stupid to run a semi-auto, I don't feel that way and that's not the point of my post. I have a Kel Tec and a Beretta Model 70; even had an LCP, which is what has formed my opinion.

So, why not a J frame 38 or Ruger's LCR?

Never shot one but looks like it could be a good choice. Kind of reminds me of a Cheetah. It's larger and twice as heavy as the LCP both loaded and unloaded so the recoil should be minimized.

The Bersa is a good choice. I've had one for about 5 years now, but mine's not going anywhere.

You should be able to find one easily though. Why not buy a new one? Check Academy, gun shows, etc.

There is a Bersa .380 at Big A Pawn on Hgy 171 in Lake Charles. Gun looks like it was kept under the car seat. Finish is @ 75% but wear looked 96%. The sticker was $275 and I noticed they had a 20% off sale....or more.
