Okay I have a 2003 NRA Savage 16. I won it at the banquet in Lincoln Parish when I was in college an just stuck it in my closet. It has never been fired or even had a round in the chamber. I moved and now I want a home defense gun for the hell of it. I am looking for three options in guns Tactical 12 gauge shotgun I don’t care about brand but needs to be worth what this gun is. Next an AR had one then sold, kick myself I don’t care what brand. Third a 44 Mag 5 inch barrel maybe 6 if it is a good gun. I will outright sell the gun for 650.00. I am in Monroe and can meet anywhere in the state.

I serve on two Friends of the NRA Committees. Just to be accurate, this was not the "Gun of the Year". It was one of many guns in the Friends of NRA Standard Banquet Package or from the Vendor Direct Catalogue, most of which have some special NRA markings. It is a very nice specimen of a very accurate and dependable rifle.
