In so many words. Fact is, this isn't the first time he has been absolutely off base. Any and every time I have a factually-based counter, he just gets more adamant and assertive. It's pretty unfortunate. But it's enlightening because it goes to show how socialism, etc. is permeating America from the ground up.

The root word for Education (educo) means "to bring forth" in Latin. Education as we conceive of it is backwards. Instead of showing students that they already and inherently possess the tools "to bring forth," so-called educators swamp students with mindless, and even incorrect "data."

I say socialism because I'm speaking from the perspective of context. In this class he has flat-out said he thinks we should have facial-recognition technology on every street corner. He wants guns to be 100% illegal, and often praises Germany and Australia for their anti-gun policies. Hence, I say socialism.
