your favorie high capacity full size 45

Seems like you already have the idea of what .45 to get, but to reassure you I have G21's and 30's and they're all dreams to shoot. I prefer 9mm for carry, but as a local competitor says "I just don't get the warm fuzzies with the 9 like I do the 45."

I'll third the Tanfoglio / EAA .45.

Amazing piece of steel.

I prefer it to anything plastic and even my Smith 1911.

Im very curious if anyone here has a cz97 or at least shot it, and what they thought about it. So far i have really enjoyed my cz75b a whole bunch. Its super accurate.

I have a CZ97. One of my better 45s IMO.

I love my Glock 21, and my S&W MP45 equally. I find the MP more comfortable, but I like having the three more shots from the Glock.

I have both a Para 45 and an FNX 45 Tactical. I like shooting the Para but it isn't nearly as reliable as the FNX. The FNX also is far easier to break down than anything else out there. It's doulbe and single action with de-cocking lever. Both guns hold 16 rounds of .45 goodness.

1911 Gold Combat RL is my favorite, no matter if its a "100yr old design made of shitty metal", (NATE). 1911 Ultra for EDC. I am really likeing the M&P45!

I got rid of all other pistol calibers a long time ago and made decision to keep the .45acp. I guess partly b/ when living in S. America, 9mm was not as easy to come by b/ governments down there consider the 9mm to be a military round. It may be in my head, but the .45 round gives me confidence since I have seen what it can do.

I looked and looked (Years ago) and picked up one in SS.

Once I got it... I didn't want it anymore. got half a dozen mags, and never really used it.

But I go to sell it, and.... don't. Time and time again.
