Have had a 61" SCAG for 9 years. Cutting about 7 acres, zero issues.
Anything with a commercial rating is going to be expensive, quality always is.
Based on the size of the lot, I wouldn't think a commercial rating is necessary.

Not that you need a ZTR for that lil yard but I have acreage and another vote for a FERRIS (made by the same folks that make simplicity and snapper commercial)

Kubota cut 9 acres a week with it for the last 3 years and have only changed the oil and blades. Plus Kubota offers 0 percent financing for 60 months on mowers. No hydraulic hoses to break it is all hard piped and the cutting deck has a gear box just like a bushhog with a drive shaft coming off of the mower. I have a 150 x150 lot in Hahnville at my house and I can cut front yard and back in 8 minutes flat..

How is the deck on the kubota ztr? We had 2 g1800 diesel kubotas and the deck lasted about 7 years on each and was $2k to replace. Paid right at 10 grand for the last one and didnt get but maybe 3 years before stuff started having to be replaced- driveshafts, u joints, etc.
Anyway, I doubt the OP is looking at a $10k mower for a tiny lot that can be done with a push mower. Kind of like squirrel hunting with a .50 bmg!

On cheaper side, my brother and Dad both have a Hustler. I see a lot of mid-level mowing guys around here using them.

On high end, Scag, Dixie and ExMark. I have a lot of experience with Scags both riders and walk-behinds with jungle wheels. Lost it once on a steep embankment went thru a 6' chain link and bounced across a large concrete drainage area with the blades running. To my surprise, nothing other than a dinged blade to show from it.

One point to add - walk-behinds with jungles wheels are far more useful for most private property. 36" - 48" deck. Hard to learn how to use at first though.
