The U.S. Army is quietly putting the word out to commands
that it is replacing its current Universal Camouflage Pattern
with a pattern the service has owned for more than a decade.

The Army's senior leadership has selected Scorpion,
a pattern similar to MultiCam that was developed around 2002,
according to a source with knowledge of the decision.

    cause scorpion sounds badass

    THIS :p

...and b/c Senator John's sisters Husband owns the company producing the Utilities.
....as well as Jimbo's son who supplies the material for the clothing.....
    ......and the list goes on....

:dogkeke: That's how Big Gov works....SOMEONE has their hand in the pot...

How else do you end up with GREY CAMO
to the tune of $5,000,000,000 when every solider I ever talked to HATED IT!

B/c someones brothers, sister's in-law serves to benefit from Gov Money.

Been going on for decades now. Working in Logistics, it's sickening..... :/

Every now and again they get called out and produce something.

This CAMO is good to go IMO.

The testing on US4CES didn't come out as well when the company making it didn't conduct it,

I know nothing about the process of testing camo pattern or what makes a good camo pattern, but I do know that when you show your NVG test and you have the other two patterns that you are trying to say yours is better than in jacket form, with arms and other shadow producing pieces, and yours as a flat as a board sheet, it seems a little fishy.

Nice, wish they had these when I was in. The ACU digital pattern has to be one of the ugliest and most useless camo patterns I've ever seen.

**** they better not make me pay for new freaking iniforms!

That is what you receive a clothing allowance for.

I just miss the old BDU's that we had back in my day. There was just something about that uniform when it was worn in garrison starched with spit shined boots and a black beret. That is the black beret that was actually earned through hard work, blood, sweat and a few tears. Not the one that was just given to all the poags because of complaining and whining!!!

That literally looks like fleck with some extra brown (which is literally from the 30s). I wonder how many will get rich from this.

I remember after Katrina, we had a few guys lose everything. Unit said they would get them new uniforms. A couple months later when we started drilling on a regular schedule again and these guys still did not have the uniforms that were promised. It was funny watching people in civies at drill.

    Good luck.
