McClure's on Magazine is pretty damn good. NOLA Smokehouse was the best BBQ I've had in my life but they're closed. :(

There's a bar in the middle of a neighborhood off Tulane ave. it's called 12 mile limit. I kid you not, the neighborhood is not somewhere I would ever venture alone. But my friend told me to join him there for a drink and their bbq was legit. Had smoked buffalo wings, smoked jalapeño peppers wrapped in bacon etc

They are good. I used to be a regular here until they raised their prices, gave you a small little cup of BBQ sauce and starting charging for extra sauce. I haven't been back since.

Zea's is crap generic chain food with high prices.

The Joint and NOLA Smokehouse are my favorites. I know NOLA Smokehouse shut down for a while, because of family health issues, but I heard it's back up and running now.

    Can someone confirm?! :eek3:

I haven't heard anything official about them opening back up yet, could have been BS. I can't wait till it's officially open again. That BBQ is legit.

BTW, last time I was there. I ate 1lb of brisket by myself and two sides, and I don't regret it.

I meant confirm they're reopening. I knew they closed. And that was legitimately the best bbq I've ever had.
