    I'm sure there are plenty of people on this forum that never had to bail anyone out before, myself included. I wouldn't consider myself to have lived a sheltered life...

    Never paid anyone's bail and never needed it paid for me (knock on wood). Once my buddy joined the DUI club and I slept straight through the phone call.

    I don't even know that any of my friends have ever been arrested. I just never moved in those circles during my 65 years. You can't choose your relatives, but you can distance yourself from people who always seem to be doing stupid stuff.
