I use to smoke, but have gotten away from it in the last few years. The best cigar I ever had was some Partagas 150s. They were pricey, but well worth the coinage.
Don't tell my Cuban wife I said this, but I think the Cuban cigars are WAY overrated. I've found others that taste better for the money. I find the Rocky Patels to be superbly rolled with a fine smooth easy draw, while the Perdomos and Cohibas I often have to drill out with a spike to get them to draw.
A fine daily smoke though is the 5 Vegas line. Their Gold product is a good mild smoke, while the "A" line is a smooth tasty robust smoke that you can get for $2 - $3 a stick. That's more in my price range for a daily cigar.
The problem with Cuban cigars is there is no quality control. You may get one box of the best smokes you've ever had and buy the same box again and they will be plugged tighter than a frogs ass.
