Even I don't get. I'm not a whore though. I would like to think there are at least a few women out there willing to break me some change for my efforts . . . just saying.

Okay, the M1 Garand IS the finest battle implement ever devised, however, there is always room for improvement. Let's face it, it's just a stock. I have a M1 Garand that is completely period correct. I have oiled and sealed my stock and wood hardware as not to have them damaged. I used a polymer stock for a few years while hunting and it worked great. It gave the same look, same function, and wasn't affected by rain or snow. I now use the Sage stock with the AR15 rifle buffer tube and Magpul PRS stock. I use a Holbrook device so my enbloc clip stays in place and I hand load it just like my Rem 700 7mm Mag. At the end of the day I remove a couple pieces add the originals back on and go to the show. M1's can be aesthetically pleasing but can also find new kit to make it more formidable. With my Leatherwood scope top mounted I can shoot easily out to 1000 yds. So yes people can make fun of my M1 but the first time someone fires it at the range they become instant converts.
