Doubtful it was a pipeline explosion. The ground doesn't look terribly disrupted and the signs are still hanging correctly on the building fronts. Keep in mind, these types of gas explosions (the injury magnitude) usually collapse one home and usually the one next to it. These are significantly larger buildings but signs wouldn't be hanging correctly, ie no visible structural damage apart from windows

Yes it is brother. Pic before that is what a mass cal looks like.

    This is truly bothering me.

Here's to our men and women who responded to it today.

    now from a combat standpoint.

if there was a secondary/what may have you device, look at how tightly clustered all of the LEO and first responders are. I know some cordon was performed, but man just one bad boy in a truck would decimate all of those guys. I think the mindset today, dealing with incendiary devices and explosives all being part of terror plots here in the US will need to start slowly changing in order to prevent further casualties.

There is no way that ws a gas line explosion. There is no damage to the ground. Whose vote is on another mentally derranged wack-job who idolized people like Adam Lanza and the Columbine kids? And whose vote is on N Korea :mamoru:.

Seriously though, my prayers go out to all involved.

I saw reports that EOD found a device at the Boston Library and conducted a controlled explosion across the street.

ETA: One of those reports being an official communication from Boston authorities via Boston Globe, iirc.

    My armchair guess - domestic

NK would send an explosive towards SK if they are going to do anything "small". They did this as late as 2010, 2011 I believe. There is a reason SK goes on with their day normally. We may not hear it but SK gets this rhetoric very regularly.

Report saying two more "bombs" have been found.

Praying the first responders stay safe.... :(

EDIT: AP saying they've been safely disarmed. Thank goodness....
