Inject a little common sense into the video and the dog would be alive and the owner wouldnt be on a street corner screaming at police, but we live in a world lacking common sense. Sad to see the dog killed, glad the officer killed him before he hurt somebody.

The officers involved in this incident have been reassigned due to the fact that they have received death threats over this incident.

So the only thing those for the shooting can say is that the guy interfered with the crime scene? I could care less he will still win when he sues. But really, we all know how loosely the "interfering tag" can be used. Same as if I wish to keep liberty when pulling up to a DUI checkpoint. They will use authority over legality so they don't look stupid.
Nothing he did interfered with the house 50yards away surrounded by squad cars, deputies, OTHER PEOPLE VIDEO TAPING, crime scene tape (which is the formal LEGAL do not cross line).

Disclaimer: I know many cops, have cops in my family, and have one sitting next to me. Not bashing, just stating the facts regarding the tools they use to do the job.

Again- He should have kept his ass- and his dog- away from the ACTIVE SCENE and this would have never happened.

Since you brought it up, let's take a logical look at the difference between him and the other guys filming (who were not approached). He pulled up to a major scene (I doubt the cops pulled out their long guns for nothing) with his windows down blasting music. Then proceeded to yell at officers. He was intentionally causing a disturbance. And let's not forget his history with the police. He got exactly the reaction he was looking for, he just didn't think the consequences through ahead of time.

Correct /\ I wouldn't want to be around any one group with that many people guns drawn and blood moving.

    Regardless, there was no interference.

Was this guy the owner of the home? That would change things. Did this guy have warrants? That would too. The man was still well outside the crime scene, if that wasn't the case, there would have been officers IN THE INTERSECTION/corner.

Speed - I know nothing of his priors, I'm simply running on the video. And do we know the music is from his video OR the vehicle the camera we watched is sitting in. How do we know when he parked there? Also, the only thing I can hear him "yell" is civil liberties when facing back towards the camera.

You keep saying "crime scene" which is a term that seems to indicate the crime is over. It wasn't. They were responding to an ACTIVE ARMED ROBBERY - at any time, that crime can still move or expand down the street. The cops are trying to keep things safe. The music was so loud they had trouble communicating with eachother as well.

Stop white knighting a flaming turd.

If he'd have been injured while filming (like getting shot or killed by the hostage taker) , I'm sure his family would be totally understanding and not take any legal action....(LOLZ)

Even if you want to argue there was no interference, I'm pretty sure that if that was his car blasting the music, it would be a noise violation. My point is, if you want to argue loud ass music and yelling while people are trying to communicate isn't interference, there are certainly other charges that would apply.

"I'm simply running on the video".

Why? Plenty of other info out there. Why form an opinion without all the facts?

It was his music. They asked him to turn it down and move away, which is when he started yelling stupid stuff at them.
