So just lightly pull the trigger to activate your light? Nothing bad can possibly come from this...

Gentlemen, my technology takes advantage of the motion of the trigger safety invented by Glock and copied by many other polymer frame manufacturers. The idea, and the basis of the patent, is that you can now activate a laser by simply touching the trigger. Not Pulling the Trigger. In fact, with about 1 ounce of pressure, the amount needed to only feel the trigger under your finger, you have started to retract the trigger safety. We capture the first 1mm of trigger safety retraction and cause the laser to activate with a flashing signature. If you want to intimidate or warn someone, then by all means you will NOT be on the trigger but on the primary switch on the laser itself. This will give you the SOLID laser signature. What this gives, is an absolutely clean frame, no buttons, no switches, no pressure pads, no nothing. You either press the button on the laser, or touch the trigger. (How many lasers turn ON by simply holding the gun? How many ways can this work AGAINST you?) So if you see a flashing laser, you might have your own finger on the trigger when you don't intend to.
So you get OFF-trigger solid laser beam for warning, or ON-trigger flashing laser beam when confronting a lethal threat. Nothing to remember. Nothing is simpler.
Clearly, if you despise lasers as many people do, then this is all nonsense to you.
As for the AR platform, if you find, as ALL tier one operators, SEALs, Rangers, SWAT officers, FBI High Threat Warrant Specialists and others that have to "GO THROUGH THE DOOR" that a light/laser can help you rapidly target the enemy, then trigger touch activation absolutely can give you 3/10s of a second advantage over someone armed and willing to die. See the potential target, light it up, follow through (or not), go dark. 2 seconds flat.
The ultimate mission we designed the TRAMS (Tactical Rail Accessory Management System) for is a covert mission, you know, night vision, IR illuminators and designators, that are used to infiltrate to a position outside the door of the Bomb Factory, Terrorist Cell, Hostage Cell, populated with terrorists that have automatic weapons and want to die. With the flick of the thumb wheel, the Accessories are re-tasked from IR to visible and when the signal is given, the NODS are lifted up, and the operators now go through the door with complete reliability that their weapon's accessories are ready and in the proper mode without having to move multiple tiny little knobs with gloved hands shaking with adrenalin.
This product was developed over 4 years with close input by the Small Arms Branch of the Soldier Requirements Division at the US Army Maneuver Center of Excellence at Fort Benning, GA. You know, the ARMY?
This is the real deal, not some cheap crap designed to make the local Gear Queer show off his or her latest acquisition. Snipers, CQB specialists, private security specialists all look at this and absolutely rave. This is the future, and the future is now.
