I had a barber in Marrero tell me he wouldn't cut white people's hair.

Not a problem. His business. His prerogative. I didn't feel insulted or discriminated against.

I can appreciate being tested on different hair types as a licensing requirement since the license is not specific to hair belonging to black, white, or purple people.

The whole CROWN Act and CROWN Coalition to end “race-based hair discrimination” takes the BS to another level.

    BALDING WHITE MALE HERE!
After years of tolerating the hassle of waiting in a barber shop or getting an appointment in a metrosexual salon for a basic-one-length-crew-cut ... Got fedup with surly Dyke Barber "Stylists". Typical treatment, thumping the side of my head for a "tilt" &/or flicking my ear; not blowing away the clipping before removing the choke collar, & smirking at a 20% tip for a shitty job ...
    I said F..k it!

Bought a Remington corded electric self-trimmer with specific length "combs" - 1/8" to 1/2"- (plus tapering side combs ! don't need). NOW, I DO IT MYSELF! Saved a bunch of money - haircut now, when needed, without an appointment (and the certain wait - listening to lisped BS).

Liberating freedom. Paid for with 3 non-visits

Why the hell would you even go to someone like that? There are plenty good hair stylists out there. I stick with my own kind. I've met some terrific blacks and Spanish and Asian, hell people of all walks of life but when it comes to needing a haircut it will be a white woman or man that I get it from. That's not racist in my mind although I know it's considered racist now.

This will end badly for both sides of the chair. The customer won't be satisfied and the stylist will do the best they can but will ultimately fail because the customer can't be satisfied no matter what. No win situation!

Wife here is a liscensed cosmetology operator for approx 35 years / eventhough not practicing for the past 25years but still keeps it current and valid. She wants to know if the testing would be done on live heads vs real hair on a manaquin head ????? ..... She says there is a difference. And will it be fake and or some type of man made look-a-like hair.......Ain"t being "WOKE" just peachy keen. Trying to re-write history to fit "Thier" way of thinking. ................................................... drill sgt.

How will this law affect current license holders ?
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Everything that I have seen concerns "NEW" license applicants.... Have not seen anything about requirements for re-testing under the "WOKE" requiements for renewing the license.... Currently you just pay the money and a newly re- newed license arrives in the mail. Wife recently re-newed her license just a couple months ago. No re-testing just pay the renewal fee. ......................... drill sgt.
