I'm in, but why the Emerson-like pants-shredder? Great colors.

I don't know about you but the pant shredding that occurs due to my Emerson's is more due to the abrasive G-10 not the actual wave feature. It is like sandpaper. I normally just take off the clip and rub some light sandpaper over the clip to pant G-10 contact area to keep my pockets in tact....

I agree. When this thread was first started, it got me interested in Spyderco knives, so I purchased my own waved Delica. After having it for some months, I don't care for it at all. It seemed like a neat idea at first, but I got tired of it quickly. It's more of a novelty to me; and depending upon the design of the pocket, it may not work as intended (in my experience).

Hopefully, if we ever do this again, we can get something more to my liking for an EDC knife - preferably without the wave, and no coating on the blade.

I'm still in for at least one of these, but it won't be carried at all.

Will the blades be numbered?

I am pretty sure the blades will not be numbered. Never seen a limited run that was numbered. The only blades I ever see numbered are the spyderco collectors blades and that is because they are assigned a number and receive one of each model produced with that number.

I think you're right for the most part, but I seem to remember the blue, G-10 handled BladeForum Natives and at least one run of an earlier Spyderco Forum knife (the Military) being numbered (I may be wrong though)....No biggie! Was just curious....

You probably are right it just never came up in conversation so I am assuming no. Anything is possible though......

I just joined this fourm because of the knife. I really like the spyderco endura wave model, and missed out on a custom sprint run from USN. But thanks to SirIsaacNewton, I might be able to get a hold of one! with FFG too! SO HAPPY
