"I tell you what I shoulda done. As soon as I saw your gun I shoulda taken two steps back, pulled my GLOCK fourty, and just put ten bullets in your ass and let you drop.

AND I WOULDN'T IF LOST ANY SLEEP. Do you understand me?

And he would have been a nice witness as I executed you because you're stupid."

I wonder how many people here will pat the officer on the back here on BS? Some people on GT are ready togive him a parade. Totally out of line, and should be jailed.

In jail he should be sodomized and beaten until he's a shell of the bully he is today. In 20 years when he gets out, he'll be old and weak and he can have his job back. No body armor. No gun. Or lazer or wtfever they have by then,

POS BULLY CRIMINAL with a badge. Any self respecting LEO should feel nothing but contempt for what this pig represents.

Some people need 'harsh talk' and I can sympathize with an officer who is straight up tired of seeing the same face breaking the law over and over, and still being spat back out into public repeatedly...

...but this guy didn't seem to be any of that, and did not seem to deserve any of the verbal diarrhea he received. He was confident in his speech, calm, polite, obedient, compliant, respectful, and exhibited no excess of ego - to the extent of saying "Yes, sir" when the cop calls him deplorable names.

This officer lost his control in one of the worst ways. Really sad.

A buddy of mine in Ohio is hoping that this may result in the rewriting or revision of the statute that requires "prompt" notification - which seemed to be why this cop lost his mind. I am inclined to believe this officer would have lost his **** over SOMETHING just because this civilian had a gun, but in this case, the vessel for his rage was the "prompt" notification as worded in the Ohio statute.

    http://www.legis.state.la.us/lss/lss.asp?doc=97451
" I. (2) A permittee armed with a handgun in accordance with this Section shall notify any police officer who approaches the permittee in an official manner or with an identified official purpose that he has a weapon on his person, submit to a pat down, and allow the officer to temporarily disarm him. "

Louisiana has a very reasonable statement, in my mind. That is - _IF_ you're going to require notification at all. I would never support a notification clause if my opinion ever came in to play but... once there is a notification clause, I don't think I could ever argue that a cop has a right to know if his detainee is armed, CHP or no CHP. I just can't argue with that.

If this driver's charges were not eventually dropped after this, that is a disgrace. And the code of blue brothers is still in force in Ohio. It is understandable to be high strung on the job, but alot of these videos seem to portray that police cannot admit fault by themselves, and then just pile on after that.

This stop should be used as a how not to perfrom a traffic stop at the Ohio PD. These LEO's were so focused on the blacks they didn't even acknowledge the white guy. It is a wonder that some civil rights violation couldn't be grouped into this.

I'll preface by saying the cop was a complete and total *******.

BUT...the dude was a) trying to pick up a hooker and b) did fail to inform the officer.

And no, squeaking out "i have a carry" in a meek voice when the officer isn't even looking at you doesn't count.

This was not some law abider brutally harassed for no reason. He was in engaging in criminal behavior. And then lied about it. I'm sure that had an affect on how the officer treated him from the get go.

Seriously...just once could one of these open or concealed carry groups please find a posterboy that isn't doing something illegal, stupid or annoying?

That was all kinds of wrong..

The driver should have found a way to notify,
The lead leo should have some blood pressure checks, and pills
the lead leo needs to be mad at himself not the driver for not doing a check on driver
the driver should not have been where he was..

I know, right? It seems like every time someone posts a "damning" video of a police confrontation... I -really- -really- have a hard time caring about the guy.

I mean, I got no problem with prostitution. What two people want to do behind closed doors is their own issue. Plenty of chicks give it away for free to guys they meet at a bar. At least some are smart enough to get something out of it.

But honestly, yea, not a great guy to "represent" a group.

Well, with the attitude that cop had, I think the guy did the right thing by shutting up when the cop told him to, in spite of what he was trying to tell him. If he had kept trying to talk, he could have gotten the heat worse. And the guy may have been going to do something illegal, but at that point he hadn't, and even if he had, there is no excuse for the cops behavior. He should lose his job, and never get another law enforcement position. He should also suffer the same prosecution that a normal citizen would go through if they threatened a cop in that manner.

It's clear he was trying to set those officers up by prancing around with his concealed weapon to attract their attention then recording it all on their body mics and dashcam. Why else would he have a dash cam in the officers vehicle or have mics on them unless he planned to set them up? Good thing these professionals didn't take the bait. /sarcasm

Those cops need to learn to focus their dash cam on the whole scene. And why do they have that Ohians for Concealed Carry watermark on their dash cam video?:mamoru:
