Some people have a hard time handling the truth.
I can handle the truth but not the BS and lies.

Well I used to work at a large gun store so I have quite a few stories I could tell. My favorite one was some old redneck who told me he shot a buzzard at about 3 or 400 yards off a power line with his 30-30. I heard so many similar stories, I usually just shook my head and pretended I was impressed.
Customer asks to see a Glock 19 and the salesman hands him a XD telling the customer how much better, safer, etc. the XD was. Customer walked.
. Do they still make the 38 I thought they stopped a few years agoNot really dumb, but I was scoffed at when I asked if a particular sp101 was 357mag or 38.
Ruger apparently does not make a 38sp sp101, they just like to advertise it on their website.
I asked a guy behind the counter what type of dum'dums did he have. He said "they are both out to lunch right now", hang around till they get back and I'll show you.

Had a guy tell me that a VZ 58 was better, more reliable, and more accurate than an AK47....

Employee: Let me look . . . here you go.
Customer: Man thats nice, you can hold it and tell its a Colt
Me: You know thats a .22 right
Customer: Colt ARs are .223 not .22 (I turn to employee)
Employee:Yea Colts are .223
Me: (pulling the charging handle)
Them:
customer " DO you have a sig " ?
Behind counter person " No I don't smoke "
A few years back there was this near 500 pound man at a Lafayette gun show saying that the M855 ammunition for sale was armor piercing and really made a difference when he was a commando back in Vietnam. Rather than arguing with an idiot, I just ignored him and kept moving along.
