In a pinch or at the range regular old white out will work. It is a temporary fix at the least but does work well. Good luck!- dmurph

If he has the new barrel installed correctly, and the factory set fsb and barrel are out of alignment he would simply need to send the product back to JSE for repair or replacement... or the shop who did the install could resolve the issue with a slight tuning. I have installed quite a few... -
AK 47 front sight
Have you considered returning the item to the individual you got it from? The repair for this problem seems manageable if one had the correct tools and know how. Also, you have the option of removing the front sight all together and adding a scope and base.... Hope this is helpful, good luck!- dmurph

Recommendations or suggestions on blueing kits
The Birchwood Casey kit is excellent for a beginner as it is easy to get a smooth finish if you follow the directions. As stated, there are better products on the market that can provide a nicer finish, however if this is your first time blueing I suggest the BC kit. Ill emphasize prep work and... -
Krylon removal- is it possible?
for a synthetic stock i use nail polish remover and when all the krud and paint is gone i follow with a non menthol shaving cream to rehydrate the plastic... works wonders on old vietnam era m16s. -
Perfect learner gun to rebuild
I got started with pawn shop .22s they can be had for cheap and if numerich doesnt have a diagram and replacement parts, ebay or gunbroker usually does. After all is said and done you have a good gun that shoots cheap ammo and will always be worth something. +1 on good tools and a clean solid...- dmurph

I have had great experience with acriglass. It stipples well enough and you can get it pretty close to the same frame color, the plastic weld idea is also a viable option if you are comfortable doing the work. good luck!- dmurph
