I have just found out that Mike passed away on the 17 of December. He was a great knifemaker and was always willing to help with advice.I will miss him

I carry a CRKT ayan or is it ryan? Which I bought in Florida 3 yrs ago for 24 dollars and have had no problems with it,its easy to sharpen and holds its edge.
I agree, I also have a few and never sealed any of them.The knife I carry to to rendezvous has an axis stag handle and has been in use for many years with no problems
Every time I have gone to the gun shows in Lasfayette I have seen usually 2 or 3 makers there, in fact I only go to shoot the breeze with them and to get some tips.I f you want to see an abundance of makers you need to go to the blade show in Atlanta which is held once a year at the beginning...
