      Just to help eliminate (or add too :D) confusion, the Brakeout is the combo brake/flash hider device. The Blackout is the FH only, and the brake only is titled Blackout Brake longhand. I've used the Brakeout original/v1 and it sucked as a FH. I haven't seen the v2. I'd go Brake on a 10.3-10.5"...

      Troy and YHM are GTG. My preference on gas block attachment methods: pinned > clamp-on/pinch > set-screw. There are hundreds of guns using set-screw GB's that have never had a problem though.
