      Homemade pistol shot shells anyone?

Spring is coming and that means....shoulder less lizards. Want us to see if anyone else here is using homemade shot shells for pistols? Idea is like that 22 rat shot we used to use (when you could still find it). Works in revolver...sized brass a pinch of pistol powder to spec (varies by...

      Arken EP5 experience?

I have the sh-4 I've not used a ton of high end glass but have used some. What I can tell...from my eyes and experience...it's comparable if not exactly the same glass quality as a scope on the 2000-2500 level. Seriously best glass I've owned personally...better than my Leupold, vortex or...

What is one thing that you were taught or overheard when younger that you repeated with faith as accurate but is not?

I hate a possum more than anything....gross nasty critters. I will go out of my way to hit one on the road. Saw a few run out from inside a dead horse (eating it from inside the cavity) when I was young....solidified for me that they were filthy and I've shot every one I could since Sent from...

Soaking a snakebite in kerosene pulls out the venom....btw I never had opportunity to try this one but sure glad I didn't add septic shock to a venomous snake bite. Sent from my moto g power (2021) using Tapatalk

Ha nice! I may have to pull of your ears for good shops, smiths and suppliers in the area. I moved from Dallas ft worth area and we are covered with shops out there....ffl on every corner it seems. Here I'm sure they are around just not familiar yet with where Sent from my moto g power (2021)...

      PSA: moving with reloading components/equipment

Absolutely, just moved a literal ton of lead (all ingots) plus my bench, press, dies scales and brass... Pros: purge out all the stuff cluttering the bench top, get to reorganize Cons: absolute logistically a nightmare and I have to reorganize...oh and re familiarize myself with where...

Hey all, I'm new to the forum from Ruston....grew up near by, moved all over and recently moved back "home". Been into casting my own and reloading to support my trigger habit for a while. Really enjoy muzzleloader and black powder but have a long varied interest in ars and bolt...

      Odd Slugging Question

Have you tried looking for advice over on castboolits? I've been a member over there a long time and they have a LOT of historical experience with slugging issues. So to clarify is this tighter or looser at the muzzle end? Sent from my moto g power (2021) using Tapatalk

      Odd Slugging Question

Is there obvious wear from cleaning rod? That would be my only thought is that at the muzzle crown there has been alot of wear that may not be visible but would be noticable by a tight fitting lead slug. Also, is it clean? Ie is there leading in the rifling in the middle of the bore? Sent from...
