      I agree with you. I know this is a little off course, when the wife and I go out for dinner I prefer a local or Mom and Pop restaurant or diner. She likes the "chain" places like Chili's or TGIF. I rather support a local business.

      Hello. I would like to help a friend who has inherited a couple of Mosin Nagant rifles and a Japanese Arisaka rifle from World War II. If a member could recommend someone who can give a fair appraisal from the metro New Orleans area to the Baton Rouge area; it would be appreciated.

      I have a Streamlight on my Glock 17. I also carry or have a Stinger handy. It's good to have a hand held light in case the battery or something (Murphy's Law) happens to your weapon mounted light.

      Could use some life advice....

      You may want to check with Nunez College in Chalmette. They have a program where they are working with several area plants to have people trained or certified for different positions. I think there are some plants are factories where you work and go to school at the same time. Good luck.
