I spoke to someone on Monday about the Slidell gun show. This person was at the gun show Saturday. This person told me that the usual "sounds" that goes on during a gun show ceased when the weapon was fired. I asked if you could've heard a mouse pee on cotton and he replied "Yes" it was that...
I agree with you. I know this is a little off course, when the wife and I go out for dinner I prefer a local or Mom and Pop restaurant or diner. She likes the "chain" places like Chili's or TGIF. I rather support a local business.
For what it's worth I attempted to send Brownell's an email and in the process managed to "chat" with one of their employees. I told him I thought I understood the "game" of supply and demand; but the prices they were posting were playing into the anti-gunner's playbook.
Of course he didn't...
I hope Magdump changes his mind. I would like 4 but if I need to order 5 that's good. This is the same brand we are issued at work.
As other people have posted personal vehicle, wife's vehicle, range bag and one to keep on person off duty can't hurt.

I own a Ridgeway grandfather clock and live in the Metro New Orleans area. About 18 months ago I used the following clock service company.
Bella's Time Piece 504-780-2263/ 885-0784. Good service and they made the Boss aka wife happy.

I would like to thank everyone for their advice. I'm sorry I didn't reply sooner, been busy at work. My friend sold his rifles last Wednesday. He didn't say how much he received for the rifles, but he's happy with the deal he made.
Hello. I would like to help a friend who has inherited a couple of Mosin Nagant rifles and a Japanese Arisaka rifle from World War II.
If a member could recommend someone who can give a fair appraisal from the metro New Orleans area to the Baton Rouge area; it would be appreciated.
I have a Streamlight on my Glock 17. I also carry or have a Stinger handy. It's good to have a hand held light in case the battery or something (Murphy's Law) happens to your weapon mounted light.
You may want to check with Nunez College in Chalmette. They have a program where they are working with several area plants to have people trained or certified for different positions.
I think there are some plants are factories where you work and go to school at the same time.
Good luck.
