Has anyone tried to add weight to a Taurus TX-22 to make it feel "bigger"?
Bam Bam has a good idea---don't know if it would suit your situation,Mine is fine just the way it came out of the box---everyone is different.
My TX has become my go to .22 pistol for just plain old fun shooting.
Sounds like a plan. And maybe a big ugly heavy 1/2x28 muzzle device if your barrel has the thread adapter? That’s where I’d want some weight. You can get some cheap in the $teens on CDNN and a few discount AR sites. The linear comps are pretty solid. And there are some shorty comps too.Has anyone tried tungsten putty?
I tried one of those fake suppressors figuring the added muzzle weight would help keep on target easier but it threw my shots off and made my groups horribly wide. Got rid of that thing. I would hang a big heavy light on it and call it good, that way there's something useful on it besides just a chunk of weight.Sounds like a plan. Yeah, I wouldn’t want anything that long on the barrel for sure. Plenty of real estate regardless.I tried one of those fake suppressors figuring the added muzzle weight would help keep on target easier but it threw my shots off and made my groups horribly wide. Meh, I’m pretty sure my wife would see right through that one, lol. Ever since it got down to “I don’t have one in that color”, she’s been ever vigilant. The perfect excuse to buy another gun.
