      Thanks! I'll first try deepening the screw heads with my Dremel and see if that does the trick. If not I may have to resort to your laser surgery. :)

      Thanks! I have a Dremel, so will give that a try. Initially I thought I'd have to resort to drilling a small hole in the screw head and using an 'Easy Out', but this sounds safer.

      Favorite handgun to shoot and why?

      My Colt New Frontier .22LR. I love the history behind the Colt single actions coupled with the .22LR cartridge. There are innumerable .22LR single actions available but the Colt, with its high polish, rich bluing and color casehardened frame is a true gem IMHO.

      WTB: Savage Model 29 forend

      Looking for a Savage Model 29 forend for a round barrel .22 pump action rifle. The actual rifle in hand is a Westernfield, but I think it's made by, or at least identical to, the Savage Model 29. Any help is much appreciated.
