Recently inherited an old Smith & Wesson revolver. From what I have found it was manufactured between 1905 and 1907. It is called the "5 screw" model and it is chambered in S&W 38 caliber. Appears to have pearl grips (can't confirm). I have had it inspected and it is in working condition...
Don't imagine the shooter stood still when he saw the deputy's car approching and with the deputy shooting four rounds though his windshied. Sounds like pretty good shooting by these deputies considering the circumstances.
