      Hey folks, I'm looking to renew my CCW permit in December. I live on the Northshore, but I'm open to do it in Slidell, New Orleans/Metairie, or Baton Rouge as well. is anyone aware of classes that have ben scheduled? (I saw FITS had one) Thanks, Mike

      Radar Detectors - do they work?

      So, my job has me on the road a good bit now (back roads, state highways, etc). I have no desire to drive 100 mph in a 40, but these speed traps i run into are a p.i.t.a. any suggestions on radar/laser detectors that work? or are the all just expensive POS? Thanks, Mike

      Where: replacement grips for a compact SA 1911?

      The grips on my Springfield compact 1911 cracked. I can find replacements, but what I want (and can't find) is the US insignia version wood grips . Can anybody point me in the right direction? I've been surfing, but can't find what I am looking for. Thanks, Mike

      i don't get the point of this...

      Say I'm posting an ad.... Why would I give my phone number out as (555)five five seven-29 three 8, or some similar mix of alphanumeric in my email address? Can a bot skim that out of ads? Or, are you just trying to prevent a google search on your number linking all your activity together...

      Met two BS'ers today
