    My buddy wants to convert (cut) his rifle into the ruger charger dimensions. Is it ok? Keep in mind both stock and barrel will be cit not just barel. Please pm me.

    Bad idea. His 10/22 is serial numbered and most likely sold as a rifle. Shortening the barrel and stock just makes it a SBR and subject to ATF controls/license.

    Better to buy one as a pistol than to go thru the hoops to make a SBR legal.
