If you’re gonna shoot 100-150 yards a 3-9x40 should do fine even if it’s a bull barrel tack driver. Zero at 100 and you shouldn’t need a BDC, but if you worried about drop maybe a mil dot ret. That said, the Nikon 4-12 rimfire on my American gets me more eyeball shots on the bushy tails than I can count. Or you could try something like this Vortex. They can be found for less than $150 new.
What is the Sonora line? Never heard of it.
That being said, I've been looking for something for my 10-22 and a 4-12 sounds fun.
I think its a big box/ academy line that they do. Duno.
