i spread mine out. 5 windowed fde 5 non windowed, 5 black windowed and 5 non windowed. fully expected them to come in different shipments. figured i would have a better chance of getting something in if i did it that way as opposed to all one color. definitely proves theyre not only producing one color though like a lot of people are claiming.

I did the same but two orders of black because I figured those would come in first. I ordered a pack of FDE about two weeks ago also. I hate waiting

The Big Brown Truck and the Postman made my day... the 10 Gen3 Magpul 30 round Pmags I ordered from Brownells on December 18 for $126.30 SHIPPED came in today. I had seriously thought about ordering 100 mags but decided that I shouldn't be greedy... LOL. Also, I got in a Fenix PD32 from Amazon for $23.86. it's just like Christmas all over again.

its not just the people.. and they are going nuts.

The good old FEDs slipped another rather large ammo order in under the radar either in late Nov or early Dec and it really put a strain on the industry.. what with the end of the Mayan people, the election, and the school shooting.

There are ammo manufacturers currently that either 1) Have had to halt sales just to focus on catching up on filling orders and or 2)cannot get the necessary brass, primers, powder or bullets themselves for their operations. A lot of the companies that make the basic raw components are sitting idle and waiting to see what the FEDs are actually going to do.. which is a standard response to things when it looks like the GOV might make rules that could effect their bottom line. You wouldn't want to wake up and find out that your entire stock for sale to the public was now illegal.. you would be out all kinds of money and it could make/break the business.

Botach has been bad about not listing things as out-of-stock, then not contacting you about it for days; and that was before everything jumped off. I may have missed the boat on pistol mags having ordered from them and then received a notice that they won't be restocking those.

I disagree. I'd expect the demand to follow a exponential curve, not a linear one. Ergo, there would be dramatically more orders the later into December it got.
