    I agree that the 1911 is not outdated. But that guy really should read a history book. Some of the worst weapons in the history of the US military were inflicted during WW1. The reason so many US made weapons were issued was because we made the best weapons back then. But congressmen still influenced what weapons were used. Ever wonder why Colt made so many presentation firearms for politicians and generals? Wow what a load of BS he used to back up his premise. It's unfortunate because I agree with the basic point. The author sure could've used actual facts to back up his point however...
