    We won our first Grand Champion in the Backyard Boogie Competition in Hammond yesterday.
    3rd in ribs
    8th in Chicken
    11th in Sauce
    I will post pictures next week.
    We also won 1st in Corporate Peoples Choice, Raising over $2400 for charity. We sold 428 lbs of pulled pork and 25 gallons of jambalaya.
    I am spending some quality time with my recliner today.:D

    This was my 5th Competition.
    So far: 5th, 3rd and 1st in ribs - 13th and 8th in chicken - 3rd in sauce.
    This competition my rib points pushed me up enough to win the Grand.

    We need to have a BS cookout.

    I went to the Professional's cooking class, took a lot of notes and then used them to start my fire.
    I just cook the way I like to eat. You know us BS members put (HINT) CAYENNE and HONEY on everything.
