Curious if anybody has taken a land nav course or a combat medicine/stop the bleed type medical training. Looking to advance my skill set for 2024 and would like some recommendations for courses around the Louisiana area.

Dark Angel Medical puts on awesome "stop the bleed" courses...not sure if any are in Lousiana, but there are definitely upcoming ones in Texas.

Lone Star Medics has some upcoming online training. They do in-person classes as well. Caleb is good people.

Dark Angel Medical is another well-respected source.

Lone star medical offers multiple 1 hour online classes for 25 bucks. For 100 bucks you could have a very good baseline of medical knowledge if the time ever presents itself.
Wil have to give these guys a look. Definitely would rather hands training as that’s the best way I learn.

My buddy and I have been looking for some bushcraft/wilderness survival training but there doesn't seem to be anyone offering anything like that here in Louisiana these days. Closest I've found seems to be in Alabama at a place that seems ok but is also overly/explicitly religious, not really my cup of tea but I suppose better than nothing.

Anyone have recommendations for anything closer?
