I'm working on a 300BLK AR15 pistol build. The upper will eventually go on a SBR lower but will have to live on a pistol lower until my form 1 gets approved.

UPDATE: I just wasn't happy with version 1 so I've swapped out a few parts. Whacha think?
10.3" Delta Company Arms 300 aac blackout barrel
LAR OPS 4 side-charging upper receiver
    Spikes 9" SAR
    Noveske Billet Lower
    MOE+
    Aimpoint Micro

    This was the old version:
10.3" Delta Company Arms 300 aac blackout barrel
LAR OPS 4 side-charging upper receiver
Carbon Fiber 9" hand guard (had this laying around...might change it out eventually)

That really looks like a standard carbine buffer tube on there with a paracord wrap... or am i just seeing things?

It is. Although it is not needed, I also made a permanent modification to the buffer tube so that you cannot attach a stock.

nice, but my experience with the feds (the FAA) has taught me that every agent has a different idea of what certain words and/or phases, terminology, etc., mean; in this case, the word "possess". I possess many buttstocks, however, does that mean if I own a pistol with a std tube, they can not be possesed period, or just nor within a certain proximity of the pistol; e.g. left at home or in a different safe, etc.?

The buffer tube has been permanently modified, it cannot accept a buttstock.
