Cabelas has a large quantity of .380 for anyone looking for ammo. Steel case "herters" (wolf) in 91 & 95 grain @16.99/18.99 per 50, and aguila 95 JHP for $27.xx per 50.

Cabela's does online orders Grandpa. What about your Walmart there by the Interstate; no 380 there?

Dang, I just looked and found this. Now they have 500 rounds of brass-cased for $30 less than the steel cased. Go figger.

Everytime I check Walmart here.......... none! I just checked that link you left for Cabellas, but that particular one is on backorder. I can't afford that many at a time anyway. A 9mm handgun is starting to look much more appealing to me. LOL

I was wondering what the difference between the 91 & 95 grain was, guess now I know I had assumed that all of that "Herter's" ammo was steel cased based upon what I had seen on the website.
They have a bunch of each on the shelf, heres a picture I took with my phone on the way out.

Donot buy the ( Herters ) Made in Indonesia it is junk.
I had three boxes from Cabelas for 16.99 a box. I through two & half boxes
in the trash thay wouldnot chamber in my Sig. p-238. The steel case
Herters (Wolf) may be ok but i willnot buy any of it at all.

I went through 50 rounds of Herters in a brand new Bersa Thunder 380 yesterday at Percision. I only had 1 failure to chamber. It was the second to last round in the first magazine and I believe it was my fault. I think I was getting too comfortable and possibly limp wristed the gun. There was never another problem with either the 7 or the 9 round mags.

By the way, the young man behind the counter at Cabelas who told me that Bersas were junk and he sold his after 3 days should fire mine. Out of 16 rounds from the first 2 mags at 20' only 1 was in the 9 ring, the rest were in the 10 ring.

If I can find a good IBW holster, it may take the LCR out of my pocket for a summer carry.
